This is my music journal where I share new finds and obsessions. 🎶
I liked even in jest by cheerbleederz. Like their name too.
Found a quirky indie rock album this weekend called In Hindsight by St. Louis band Algae Dust. Favorite track from the album is Rewind.
This week was calmed by janna's folk rock album back to the wilderness.
Found high on my own supply by Amelia Cry Til I Die this past Saturday and enjoying it again today.
Today I listened to Silhouette Machine by Flooding and <3 by Window Seat.
Silhouette Machine blends slowcore and screamo and it feels dynamic. Honestly two genres I'm never in the mood for but it didn't feel like it was ever droning or busy, and I still got sad indie vibes out of it.
<3 is an EP by vocalist and guitarist Rose Brown of Flooding. It's emotional, queer bedroom indie music, but with a similar slowness. If you're going to listen to one song, maybe make that If I Were Neil Armstrong I Would Have Planted a Flower on the Moon Instead?
